Here’s what I’ve come to learn in my 32 years of living. Doorways close for a reason and obstacles present themselves to give us a moment of time out. When I think back to all of the hurdles I’ve jumped and the blocks I’ve crashed through to get what I wanted, and I realize that some of those results I wanted were NOT what I wanted. Living from a place of ego will make us move full speed ahead just for a sense of accomplishment, but when our heart is not in alignment with what we’re trying to accomplish God will place all sorts of signs in our path to give us a moment to reconsider. I know, at this point, when I get those “signs” to take a moment and really ask myself, “Why do I want this”? If the answer is not in alignment with what I really WANT, I know to take a step back and reconsider my course of action. Everything that’s been beneficial to me has come through with ease. I didn’t have to jump hoops. Simply taking advantage of the opportunity was all the action I needed to take.
